💥 BANNING ALL CATS AND DOGS AS PETS💥

Hey everyone! If you have pets other than a dog, cat, or farm animal, your rights are about to get taken away. I highly encourage you all to write a letter to your senators and say NO to Lacey Act Amendments in America COMPETES Act.
What does this mean? This legislature just passed the House and is going to Senate. If it passes, you will not be able to take your exotic pets across state lines. This goes for ANYTHING THAT IS NOT A DOG, CAT, OR FARM ANIMAL!
If you have a bird, reptile, fish, rodents, invertebrates, you will not be to do the following.
If your vet is over state lines, they can't go
If you got a job out of state, they can't go
If you are a rehabber, you can't transport animals across state lines
If you order bugs as pet food out of state, you can't anymore
This will affect conservation, breeding programs, educational programs, food supply, biomedical research, and so much more. Please, I beg you guys. This is not good. If we don't send letters to our senators, they will come after breed-specific dogs. No one wants that. But no one wants to help the exotic community. Just because it doesn't affect you now, DOES NOT MEAN IT WON'T! I really can't stress this enough.
Cats kill billions of native wildlife resulting in the extinction of many species of birds. They can also cause injuries needing serious medical attention due to their bacteria and no one ever bats an eye. But have an exotic pet that is happy, not destroying native wildlife, eats non-native plants and everyone says they need to be banned.
