Congratulations Crepe! This little pancake of a lady found her forever home today with new mom Meghan! 🤝🏼 Crepe, found being tormented by kids on the streets in Troy, is really one of the sweetest most petite-ist girls at the lounge. Although she's been known to slap a kitten or two at times, we can't say that they didn't have it coming 👋🏼

Crepe is headed home to be an ONLY cat and live the spoiled life! Happy ruling, Queen, you've earned your crown 👑

The Pretty Paw Lounge will be closed today, Wed, Feb 12 for cleaning and preparation for tomorrow’s cookie decorating event. We still have spaces. Join us for a Valentines Themed Cookie Decorating Class and The Cat Cafe. February 13th 6:00-8:00pm. This event is $60 per person plus a Litter or Cat Food donation. There will be complimentary 60 minute Cat Visit before or after the class.

2 - Pesto buried your surprise in his box and who doesn't love a good surprise 🤭

3 - Privacy in the bathroom is overrated anyway

4 - Roses are red, Churu is runny, cats are better than that ex dummy 🧑🏼‍🦲

5 - one out of every 10 cats we saved was born in or around a dumpster in the area (support local!)

6 - Churu is cheaper than Waygu 🥩

7 - a cats purring is proven to boost serotonin. And a serotonin boost is proven to reduce "are you waiting for a different shade of green" at your local traffic light 🚦

Pesto, our resident 5 year old tux found his forever family yesterday, just in time for Valentine's Day 💘

This super calm sweet boy came from Queens, when his former owner became homeless and tried to make it work living in a car with four adult cats. When the danger and vet bills became too much to handle, she was left with no option other than to surrender all four, including sweet Pesto. Although originally scared, Pesto & fellow Italian seasoning siblings made a full 180 at The Pretty Paw Lounge. 🤍

This incredible family has visited the lounge a few times in the past month, and fell in love with our Pesto (perhaps because he is the Besto) 🌿🤌🏼 Their sweet daughter (on dad's shoulder) gave Pesto a tuna lollipop yesterday and the rest was history 🐾

The Pretty Paw Lounge is open 11-5 today, so dig the car out, call your ride share, and get ready to get covered in cat hair 🐈 (a lint brush is a lot cheaper than a shovel) and much less stress on the lower back.

Come watch our nap-stars warm up for CATBOWL 59, slack off on the field, and possibly drool on their jerseys. (our money's on Pesto for the winning punt) 🙃

You heard it here first 🦅🏆 The cats call an early Superbowl pick with an Eagles win 🥇 It was a close game, but it came down to the two-point conpurrrrrrsion in the final seconds 🎉🐾

After an impurrrrfect start, the Eagles entered the second half trailing by 9, but came back strong pushing everything, including the competition, off the counter. The Chiefs, easily distracted by an empty cardboard box sitting on the 50 yard line, lost focus, and watched their lead go out the window.

Following a brief scuffle on the field, both teams went for the extra points, but ended up taking a nap in the end zone. As fans began to chant and throw treats, the Eagles victory was called. Witnesses say both teams joined in celebrating, leaving tuna, 100 proof pate, and nip all over the field 🏈🤝🏼

It's Tortoiseshell Thursday and our sweet 4 year old girl Toast is off to her forever home in loving arms! After being returned twice (wtf!) and brought back to the shelter because the family "wanted a kitten instead" (you can't make this sh*t up)... our leading lady of all things bread has stolen the heart of Jennifer and her kids. We trust Toasty girl will be spoiled and that's exactly what she deserves. Thank you for making her 9 lives 9 times better, Jen and family! Happy adoption day TOASTESS with the MOSTESS! 🥂

A huge congratulations to one of our very own! The manager of The Pretty Paw Lounge is celebrating adoption number 207 tonight by welcoming Lucky into her loving arms (and living room!) Lucky, an owner surrender last April, (who we couldn't even touch with elbow high gloves!!) is literally the sweetest cuddly boy we've ever met. He wrapped himself around Chase like a fine cashmere scarf and the rest was history. 🧣 Lucky joins Pretty Paw lounge adoption alum Jif, Luna, Mittens and Ray Ray!
