Hardscrabble Farm Pet Boarding was started over 11 years ago by Eileen Armstrong. Eileen was very involved with animals for many years. She raised her own personal pets, bred and competed with standard poodles.Her late husband and her also raised cattle on their beautiful property. Eileen's husband passed away and Eileen decided to open the Hardscrabble Farm Pet Boarding. Built from scratch, she put her heart and soul into the facility.
Many years she cared for dogs,cats and even obtained a special bond with all her clients. She strives on caring for your animals as though they were her own, kept a clean and safe environment, and truly loves her job.
I was introduced to Eileen a few years back now, we connected when she offered to let my family bring our Angus beef cattle to her farm fields for the summer. We started building a friendship.She knew i worked at another dog boarding business and knew that i was ready for a change, and she was ready for a business partner. As of January 2019 we became business partners, friends,advocates of quality boarding and hope for many years of great business. I have been given the opportunity of a life time. I am honored to work somewhere so relaxed, with the views and smell of fresh mountain air.
