I am Velako! At 16 weeks a pure breed South African Mastiff at the home of Pom Rugby Bava Park.

I went to watch the Piggies play in their first 15s pre season game. After the game, I had a run around field too. I had a lot of grass to run around, 100meters to be exact hehe.

After a quick run around, it was time to head back home, I was both tired and hungry.

For dinner I had 2 pcs lamb heart 2 chicken liver and 250 grams of ground beef. Dad doesn’t want to over feed me cause then I will turn out like him 🙄🙄

But that was my weekend. How was yours?? 🥰

Pup is very alert, let’s owner know when strangers are around , playful but yet loving to the owners.

Around 10:00 AM today Neeko gave birth to 10 beautiful puppies. Excited but sad at the same time as this will be Neekos last litter at but I’m keen cause this are King Ravu’s first litters on ground.

Fresh blood lines from our boy Ravu who is an import from the land down under! Keen for the next few weeks to see how our babies grow. Hit us up if your interested!

Exciting times ahead! King Ravu and Neeko are having babies, not so long now. Puppies are due to arrive next week Monday. Get you that perfect home security guardian, cuddle buddy, best friend and play mate! Where else can you get that? No where else but here.

This dogs stick to you like glue, and want to be around you every where you go. They are not show dogs who just look good 🙄 they protect and guard their own!

So go on, get you a pup to protect your loved ones both humans and assets. Don’t know why I’m convincing you. Just get one 😊 won’t regret it!

To my people back home in South Africa, Congratulations on taking out the All blacks in the rugby World Cup final.

Unfortunately, my pack and I slept through the game, Dad turned the TV on at 5am this morning but non of us stayed up to watch, everyone was tired from the day before.

However, as a South African Mastiff (Boerboel) I am beyond proud and happy for our win! Up the Spring boks! One love Tiare 💚💚💚

My day yesterday was hectic! Dad, Neeko and myself went hunting. We got off late around 8:00 am in the morning which was too late. Tiare slept in cause that’s all Tiare does, sleep sleep and a lot more sleeping.

It was my first proper hunt and I was nervous but I had to put a brave face on.

We saw Pig and Wallaby tracks everywhere. The grass was to high for myself and Neeko to look out for anything so we just walked behind Dad. On the way, dad and the uncles kept burning the dried grass because of the dry season.

My uncles kept saying the burning of the grass would help myself and Neeko go after the Wallabies and Pigs if we did come across them.

2 hours into the walk and I was exhausted, the sun was hot and all i could think of was my verandah at home and nice cold water from the fridge.

We got back to the vehicle around 12, and headed straight for the creek. Dad read my mind. I stayed in the creek for as long as I could, I felt alot better in the cold creek and did not want to leave.

Neeko was the fittest amongst us 3. Dad and I needed work on our fitness, but we will be back soon. Until then yagiso!

Not very often my Dad takes us out for drives on Sundays, but this one was different. Neeko and I were picked up around about 2-2:30pm yesterday.

For me (Ravu), it was my first time coming out to this side of town. Neeko and my late brother Hercules drove up this way frequently, she would speak of it when we hung out at home often. For myself, we turn back from the downtown ring road area and back up home.

From home,the drive lasted 30- 45 minutes. I enjoyed every bit of the ride until we got to the bumpy roads heading into the bush they call Gunika at Papa Village.

Neeko was getting on my nerves! She knew we had a small vehicle yet insisted on seating beside me 😑 mind you I am a big boy. When we hit the bumps, I would push up against Neeko and she did not like that one bit. Long story short Dad yelled at both of us for fighting in the back of the vehicle. We immediately stopped. Dad for some reason thought it was my fault but Neeko should have known since she was older to give me space during the ride!

Apart from Neeko 🙄 the trip was good! I had a great time. Dad keeps drilling into my head I will make him the proudest when I catch a Wagi (wallaby in my language)

The last time I seen one of them was when I was in Australia. Haven’t seen any since here since moving in with Dad. But there you have it what a day, what a beautiful Sunny Sunday 🌞

Enough about Tiare, I am Ravu 🌊 Meaining Sailor or one who loves to spend time out at Sea in my dads mother tongue.

I am a Fila mastiff at 10 months of age. Today I went down to Ela beach for a swim. My dad slowly introduced me to the sea and I liked it very much. Taught me how to swim a couple times and I got the feel of it.

Considering I’ve got a high play drive, training was fun, dad guided me well and praised me when needed.

In one session I learnt how to swim, get comfortable with the sea, and play fetch. I am still learning how to let go of the toy once I get out of the sea, it shouldn’t take me long, I know I’ll grasp it quick.

But there you have it fam, this is how I spent my morning on the Dog side of life on the South Side😎😎

My name is Tiare, 💐🌺 meaning flower in my dad’s language, he is from a village along the Rigo Coast - Hula

Originally I am a Boerboel from South Africa, however I like to see myself as Tiare the flower from Hula. As seen in my video, like my name, I do not like water very much. It will surely grow onto me being from Hula.

Also, I am looking forward to doing a trip to Hula with my Dad soon. Should be good and on that note Safe long weekend to you all out there 🇵🇬

Just the girls Tiare Neeko and Aneru chilling out the back veranda. Preparations for night shift usually start from 6PM, however we let them out early this afternoon cause they swept through dinner. Night shift goes till 6AM just before feeding time.

I must say they are very alert at night time, and sleep in the day time, such lovely companions truly are a man’s best friend.
