Samson now back with his appetite after 6days of battling deadly parvovirus.
Parvovirus is a contagious virus mainly affecting all dogs especially puppies. The virus affects mainly the gastrointestinal tract and spreads through direct or indirect contact with contaminated f***s. Puppies and unvaccinated dogs are mainly at risk. Signs or parvovirus includes lethargy,inappetence,vomiting ang bloody f***s. Parvovirus is preventable through vaccination. Contact your nearest vet for your furbabies vaccination program.

Jewel a jack russel dog was brought to the clinic due to inappetence and labored breathing. Upon physical examination Jewel was also seen to have epistaxis(nose bleed) and ecchymotic hemorrhage was noted all over the body. Jewel tested positive for Erlichiosis, Anaplsmosis and Babesiosis a blood parasite in need usually caused by Tick bite.
This disease is prevented by regular anti tick and flea medication. Consult your Vet for proper treatment and prevention
