The power of collaboration was on full display last Saturday as the United States Navy Pacific Partnership, in partnership with DMMMSU-NLUC College of Veterinary Medicine, the City Veterinary Office of San Fernando City, the La Union Provincial Veterinary Office, and the DMMMSU CVM Alumni Association, joined forces to create an impactful event. A celebration of unity, compassion, and the collective drive to make a difference, this event marked a remarkable chapter in the lives of both the participants and their beloved pets.

With the coordination and dedication of all involved parties, around 140 cherished pets were treated with tender care through vital surgical procedures. This collaborative effort ensured that these animals received the medical attention they needed for healthier and happier lives. Beyond medical procedures, the event also demonstrated a commitment to preventive care, as 100 furry companions were protected from the threat of rabies through the administration of free anti-rabies vaccines. It was a day that vividly illustrated the transformational impact that can be achieved when diverse organizations unite with a common goal, reminding us that even the smallest actions can create a ripple effect of positive change. 🐾💙"

Registration and consent forms are available at the City Veterinary Office, Brgy. Tanqui (behind City Police Station Office), City of San Fernando. Please strictly follow these guidelines:
1. Pets must be healthy.
2. Pets must already be vaccinated by anti-rabies.
3. Pet must not to be given food on the evening of August 25, 2023.
4. Required age for cats is 4 months old and above at least 2.5 kg in weight, for dogs 6 months old and above

Successful cystotomy and catheterization in a 4 year old male shih tzu named Haru with urethral stone case 🥰

Kudos to our resident vet Dr. Dan Manuel for attending to Haru even though it's weekend and no overtime pay hehe
Also big thanks to clinician Donnel Garcia Galdonez for assisting Doc Dan during the surgery.

Job well done guys! You are our real heroes❣️
