On the occasion of the Feast of St. Francis de Assisi, the revered patron saint of animals, veterinarians from Negros Occidental and Bacolod City met at the Business Inn Hotel to engage in a research presentation centered around "Immunomodulatory Effects of Cow's Colostrum with Egg Yolk Formula on Medical Parameters in Dogs with Kidney and Liver Disease."

Heading this diligent research endeavor were Dr. Maria Corazon and Dr. Angel Kate Cauntoy, Jella Dolodoble and Jessan Cabunsol. These preliminary findings hold promise, suggesting potential advancements in the treatment of dogs afflicted with these life-threatening conditions. Furthermore, it opens up the intriguing prospect of devising a natural, nutrition-based approach to managing kidney and liver diseases in our beloved canines.

This event serves as a poignant testament to the unwavering commitment of veterinarians towards the well-being of animals. It provided a unique platform for these dedicated professionals to converge on a day that carries immense significance within their field, resonating with the broader community of animal enthusiasts. The assembly included esteemed City Government Veterinarians such as Dr. Mo Jo III from Sagay City, Dr. Mae de la Torre from Bacolod City, Dr. Josue Rabang from Cadiz City, Dr. Mary Rose Jimera from Silay City and Dr. Yasmin Tan from Office of Provincial Veterinary Office. In addition to these seasoned practitioners, there was a notable presence of young veterinary professionals representing various clinics: This collaborative effort in sharing evidence-based knowledge represents a promising stride forward in ensuring the best possible care for our cherished four-legged companions.

Blankets and trapals delivered today in Brgy Manlucahoc, Sipalay City.

Si Dr. Liezel Monido, ay isang Veterinarian na nagtuturo sa Capiz State University at isang NOSP Pagkaon Scholar na taga Brgy Manlucahoc, Sipalay City. Siya po sa ngayon ang tumutulong sa ating makarating ang mga donations sa kanilang lugar.

Ang kanilang Baranggay ang kasalukuyang tinulungan nang grupo nang mga private practicing Vets sa Negros Occidental.

Ang mga Trapal at balnkets ay di nasama sa naunang food packs dahil di na kasya sa sasakyan nang aming Co-Pagkaon scholars, Ate Rose and Kuya Ruel Veloso. Pinadala po kanina via Ceres bus.

Ito po ay mga manandaliang solusyon muna pero malaking tulong po sa kanila na may masilungan sila pansamantala sa ulan at init. Masaya po sila sa kaunti ginhawang ating naibibigay.

Matatagalan pa po sila bago makabangon, nalubog po sa baha ang kanilang mga pananim, sira ang kanilang mga bahay. Kailangan po nila nang matagalang pag-alalay.

Wala parin pong kuryente at cellphone signal sa maraming parte nang Candoni, Hinobaan, Ilog, Cauayan, Kabakalan at Sipalay sa Negros Occidental.
