Finally had the time to finish wiring the electrical and run the 3 Stage DIY Filter! After a year, this project is Finally Up! and RUNNING!

3 Stage Filter done. Time to Leak Test!
The filter was designed for easy maintenance in the future. We used margarine containers as they are readily available and cheaper compared to the conventional water drums.

This batch had 30 Babies. Only had 5 baby bristlenose plecos on the first batch.

The result of our experiment with the eggplants placed in modified buckets showed that the root system are much better compared to placing them in our pipes. We are now starting a new line for the fruit bearing plants using 33liter buckets. 😉

The first system we built before making a fish pond. Materials used were 3, 2 and 1/2 inch PVC Pipes, Aquaspeed A4000 submersible pump, and a Digital Timer for scheduling the pump to work.

Cocopeat or coconut fiber, is the powdered husks of coconuts. It is one of the completely organic media available for aquaponics or hydroponic systems. Cocopeat is known for its large oxygen and water capacity, which means your plants have a better chance of surviving if something goes wrong with your aquaponics aor hydroponics system.
