SANTO NINO CELEBRATION - JANUARY 19! The Filipino Community welcomes you to join them for the traditional celebration of Santo Nino (the Holy Infant Jesus)!
Sunday, January 19 at Holy Name of Jesus Church
Starting at 3pm with prayer inside the church, followed by a procession of the blessed Santo Nino statue, then a celebration with food, music and dancing!
All are welcome to attend!

JUST IN: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he intends to step down as the country’s prime minister, leaving office once a new ruling party leader is chosen.

• Canada’s parliament will be suspended until March 24 while a new leader is chosen, he said.

To the guy driving this truck this afternoon, Merry Christmas! We may not know what situation you’re in right now, but it wasn’t right to steal something from Shoppers(Lakeshore)today, especially on this lovely day. Staff and other people tried calling your attention to return what you stole but you drove away aggressively instead, almost hitting my husband. Thank you to those who (including my husband) bravely helped the staff stop the guy.
