The Aksaray Malaklısı is a large and powerful breed of livestock guardian dog originating from the Aksaray region in Turkey. Known for their imposing size and protective nature, these dogs are often compared to other large breeds like the Kangal, but they are generally larger and more robust.

Here are a few key characteristics of the Aksaray Malaklısı:

Size:
These dogs are enormous, with males typically weighing between 120 to 150 kg (265 to 330 lbs) and standing around 70 to 90 cm (27 to 35 inches) tall at the shoulder.

Appearance:
They have a muscular build, large head, and a distinctive droopy lower lip, which gives them their name "Malaklısı" (meaning "with lips" in Turkish). Their coat is usually short and dense, varying in colors like fawn, brindle, or gray, often with a black mask.

Temperament:
The Aksaray Malaklısı is known for its calm but protective demeanor. They are loyal to their families and excellent at guarding livestock from predators like wolves and bears. However, due to their size and strength, they require proper training and socialization from an early age.

History:
These dogs have been bred for centuries to guard livestock in the harsh climates of central Turkey. Their endurance and ability to protect livestock from predators have made them highly valued by shepherds and farmers.

Because of their size and guarding instincts, the Aksaray Malaklısı is not suited to urban living or inexperienced dog owners. They thrive in rural environments where they can have space to roam and fulfill their guardian duties.

Aksaray Malaklisi. Laging may nag cocomment na naiba daw ang Purpose ng Malaklisi dito. di na daw nag gguard ng flock. Fyi. Mag research po kayo. 🤣 Aksaray Malaklisi is much more effective as Guard dog or Home / Property Guard dog. kesa maging Flock Guardian Dog. I'll leave that to the Kangal. Their Cousin na mas maliit at mas mabilis kesa sakanila.
