Cookie's Nest - Shelter & Foster Home has been running for 5 years now.
3 years with the first location and 2 years with the current location.
Many factors have led us to move to another one.
Yearly significant increase of annual rent, started with 48k in 2023, 54k this 2024 and 60k to renew.
The new place is 50k annually, minimum 3 yrs contract.
Better land with grass and trees.
No nearby neighbors.
Not near the main road.
Better quality of supply of water.
Already has a big concrete house with 3 rooms of which one will be used when I start working again on a work from home set up. And to safely secure all animals during super typhoons.
Big area where I will plan fruits and vegetables to help for the food of the shelter and to sell for extra income.
We are moving by February 2025.
We are already cutting grass and cleaning the area.
Will be needing all the help as we will be building the perimeter wall using "yero's" and coco lumbers.

Some perimeter wall has been destroyed.
All trapals destroyed and a lot of yeros uprooted.
