Another day, another heartbreaking situation. :( An hour ago, you were playing, eating, and meowing like your usual; next thing we know is that you can no longer stand and now gone. Chase's rescue journey tells us how our lives are so unpredictable therefore always make everything counts.

Our Chase, you are in a happy place now, full of love, and free from being abandoned again. Play and eat a lot there! Until we meet again. 😭☹️

Rescued: Aug. 17, 2024

Another day, another rescued cat from the side of the road. We found her yesterday while on our way home chasing two (2) joggers along a bypass road in Tanza, Cavite; the joggers were not aware that they were being followed. Maybe due to tiredness, she stopped the chase as they ran fast and looked confused on where to go next.

With her current condition, there is no chance of survival. We stopped, and observed if the joggers would pick her up but to no avail - we immediately took her in, placed her in a laptop box, gave her a quick bath, removed a few fleas, and she's now in much better space.

Lilitu is an abandoned kitten we first found on the roadside, she was thin and there were obvious signs of skin disease. Brought her to the vet for the laboratory, it was determined that she has infection and ear mites and was given medicines and vitamins.

Let us welcome her to the Kalye Kalinga PH family! Hope she gets better the soonest.

It is indeed heartbreaking to see them go one after another but we always keep in mind that we are also thankful that these furbabies allowed us to take care and love them even for a short period of time. You were super jolly yesterday but now you chose to leave us. 😿

You may be gone physically but you will be forever in our hearts. Sorry if we were not able to give you the treatment that you need, we were almost there. We should be heading there this morning for your transfusion yet you bid your goodbye while asleep - you fought your illness bravely enough that you let us take care of you.

You now have the entire heaven as your playground. A bunch of your brothers and sisters are there waiting for you to play with them. 🐶🐱

She has been sick for almost a week now. Bleeding on her nose, gums, and a**s - likely infected with FCV. She is on IV and being given IV fluids thru injection for quick rehydration.

Hope she makes it and we badly need your help. 🙏 More tests to come. 💉🤕🩸

Incredibly surprising!

To the employees of Five9 Philippines, we thank you for helping us help our fur friends in need. With your donations, we will be able to have a feeding activity this week - please stay tuned.

Today, we had a chance to visit our partnered animal shelter - a place led by a selfless woman that houses thousands of abandoned, surrendered, and misunderstood stray cats and dogs.

As promised, Peanut's birthday money gifts plus other donations managed to produce seven (7) 20Kg dry food bags. Peanut's eye opener to witness and eventually adapt the act of helping fur animals. Also, to inspire other people to be kinder and more understanding when there are strays nearby - always remember that we are their voice, and only us can help them to survive a manmade cruelty in this world.

Surely, there are more to come and we are encouraging you to help us help them while there are still chances.

Thank you MBY Pet Rescue and Sanctuary for accepting us and most especially to Madam Marita for loving these cats and dogs unconditionally as none of these is an easy task.

Another day, another patient. 🏥

This is Teenie, a new rescue. She has severe wounds on both thighs because a poor soulless creature poured her boiling water. Brought her to our go to clinic, was diagnosed with blood & skin infections and currently with high fever (39.7 c). 😿

She was given multiple take home medicines - good thing we have remaining stocks and saved some bills. Hopefully, she becomes better the soonest possible.

Kalye Kalinga PH Meet the Mama Dog that we met when we went to Mountain Brew in Ternate, Cavite. She was tremendously charming and recently gave birth since her mammary glands are still loosen. We gave three (3) packs of wet food, she never left our side all throughout our stay. We can't take her with us right away as her puppies could be waiting for her.
