Today marked a major milestone in our community’s commitment to pet health! 🐾 ✨

Our vaccination drive in Sambag 2 Barangay Hall and the SWU-DVM building was a huge success, with so many pet owners coming together to ensure their furry friends are protected. A huge thank you to our sponsor, the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Fisheries (DVMF), the veterinary team: the Veterinary Clinicians’ Core (VCC), the SWU Community Developmen Office, SAVER’s resident doctors: Dr. Honey Pantallano, Dr. Levi Obligado, Dr. Shawndee Tan, Dr. Anferne Suico, and Sis Maria Jean Silvania, faculty members Dr. Rickmond dela Bajan and Dr. Phil Alphonsus Alilin and of course, the loving pet parents who showed up to safeguard their pets. 💉💚

This drive is just one step in creating a healthier, happier environment for all animals. Together, we’re making a lasting difference—one vaccine at a time! 💚🐾

🐾💉 Get Your Pet’s Free Anti-Rabies Vaccination!

In honor of 2024 World Rabies Day, SAVER-SWU and the Veterinary Clinicians’ Core (VCC) are offering FREE anti-rabies vaccinations for pets to help protect our community from this serious health risk. With the generous support of Department of Veterinary Medicine and Fisheries (DVMF) this event will be successful. Rabies can be deadly, but we can protect our pets and communities through vaccination and awareness.

Join us on December 7, 2024, at Sambag II Gym and SWU DVM Building Department from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to ensure your pets are safe and protected. 🐶🐱

Here are some important reminders:

1. Bring your pets for their free vaccination – FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS!
2. Remember to bring proof of previous vaccinations (if any).
3. The pet must be 3 months old and above.
4. The pet must NOT be pregnant and is in a healthy condition.
5. The pet must be in his/her leash or caged.
6. Please bring your pets clean and groomed.

2. Dad-a ang ebidensya sa mga nakalabay nga bakuna sa inyong alagang hayop (kung naa).

4. Ang hayop kinahanglan nga DILI buntis ug naa sa maayong kahimtang.
5. Siguraduhon nga ang inyong hayop naa sa kural o nakaputong tali.
6. Palihug siguraduhon nga ang inyong hayop limpyo ug limpyo tan-awon.

31st National SAVER Convention

SAVER members from across the nation gathered for this highly anticipated event. The SAVER SWU PHINMA Chapter proudly sent some of the residents for this remarkable event held at Aklan State University. The participation of our delegates—sis Eden Tagalog, sis Emilie Kobayashi, and sis Theresa Bonachita was particularly noteworthy with their commitment and collaborative bond towards other SAVER chapters.

The community buzzed with phenomenal activities, showcasing excellence in veterinary medicine and vibrant cultural experiences for SAVER members to engage in. We express our gratitude towards ASU-SAVER for their warm hospitality and for fostering an environment of connection and support among our brothers and sisters.
