🐾 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂:

1. Avoid making direct eye contact and avoid running.

2. Stand tall, use a firm voice saying 'No' or 'Away' (you can slowly wave your arms to appear larger).

3. If necessary, spray water near them to deter without harm.

Remember, your aim is to discourage them from approaching, NOT hurt or scare them.🐕💙

🐶 𝑷𝒊𝒔𝒐 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑨𝒔𝒐: 𝑱𝒐𝒊𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑷𝒂𝒘𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏! 🐾

SACC is launching a weeklong donation drive to give aid for our stray canine friends. Any amount of generous contributions will provide an ample amount of proceeds that will be given to our chosen Non-Profit Organization: Care for Paws Shelter Sanctuary (CPSS).

𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 is a non-profit animal shelter which aims to rescue/rehome abused and neglected stray dogs and cats.

While petting stray dogs might feel compassionate, it can pose risks to both them and us. This could inadvertently encourage them to approach humans more, increasing their risk of harm from traffic, aggression, or reliance on human food sources.

Additionally, feeding them chocolate, a toxic treat for dogs or any food that is harmful to them can lead to severe health complications or even fatal consequences for these stray doggies. 🍫
