These are just the usual basic needs at the shelter:

We are currently feeding 11 cats and 13 dogs. The amount of food depends on how much funds we have gathered. There are days that we have zero funds and donation but this doesn't stop us to provide for the animals.

‼️ CALL FOR ADOPTION FOR CATS‼️

Since our founder’s motorbike accident, the shelter has not been paying the rent where the animals are currently staying. Funds are depleted, almost zero due to the medical expenses that Mermaid Odessa needs. And with a heavy heart, the founder decided to temporarily close the shelter until she is better and healthy to rescue and rehabilitate nomadic animals once again.

We have 11 cats at the shelter now and all of them are in need of a loving furever home. The descriptions of each cats are from the founder herself. They are approximately between 2-7 years old and all have good appetite. Some of them are skinny due to food shortage. A few of them also has a skin disease which the vet assessed is treatable. Most of them are spayed/neutered, if the description doesn’t say otherwise, let’s assume that they aren’t yet. Due to insufficient funds, their vaccines are not updated as well.

If you would like to visit and see them, please don’t hesitate to send us a message and we can arrange a schedule for your visit. We are desparate to find them loving human companions aswe are not in the capacity anymore to sustain payment for the house rental where the animals are currently residing. One of the deceased owner’s relatives would like another paying tenant to occupy the house since they also need funds for their daily expenses. And with our founder’s current situation, we are already struggling to provide them their basic needs - food and shelter.

The dogs are also up for adoption and will create a separate post for them in the coming days.
