Dentist for the day! Estes is a 2 year old mini poodle that still had a lot of his baby teeth! Before we did the extractions, a full mouth X-ray also revealed other problems which would not have been visible without the X-rays. We then proceeded with dental prophylaxis and tooth extractions, and we have plans in place to address all his other dental issues 😉

Dental radiographs are essential and often reveal relevant clinical information that would be missed based solely on an oral examination.

Our clinics got another upgrade! We now have X-ray available in both our branches! And what’s even more exciting is that our brand new DR X-ray machine in the Maa clinic is capable of doing fluoroscopy too! Simply put, fluoroscopy is a study of moving body structures - similar to an X-ray "movie." At the end of the video you can see how we are able to diagnose and demonstrate regurgitation - when the liquid that’s being swallowed moves from the stomach back into the esophagus.
