We're thrilled to introduce Chloe Alexandra Gempesaw, the pioneering convenor of the Youth-led Plantbox Innovation Network! Which aspires to promote sustainability in agriculture through buidling ecosystem with the youth!

🎉 Chloe is leading the charge in advocating for sustainable farming through innovative Plantbox Solutions. She is Entrepreneurship student of AdDU and also founder of Vaertical Farm & Technology.

We are proud to have our very own youth led sustainable farming partner who will be a catalyst for empowerment for the youth who wants to learn sustainable farming located at Matina Pangi, Davao City. We aspire to grow number of youth engage in sustainable farming using Plug Hydroponics system.

The hand watering system involves manually watering pots filled with soil. The drip system uses drip lines to deliver water to each pot. In the aeroponic system, there’s no soil; instead, net pots with bare roots receive a continuous mist of water and nutrients. The goal is to compare growth results across these methods. 🌱🔬

🆗A net house is a kind of greenhouse. Net houses allow an only appropriate amount of heat, air and moisture to pass through them to create the required climatic conditions for the better growth of the plant. This way the net houses allow the plants to grow the healthiest.

Aeroponics Farm. Soon to open in Davao! 🤗🍀

From the Greek word “aer”= air, and “ponos”= labor.

It is a method of cultivating plants in an air or mist environment, eliminating the need for soil or an aggregate medium.

The fundamental principle of aeroponic growing involves suspending plants in a closed or semi-closed environment while spraying their dangling roots and lower stems with a nutrient-rich water solution in an atomized or sprayed form. The upper portion of the plant, including the leaves and crown, extends above.
