THE THREE MACKERELS 🐟

We helped these three female cats to get spayed last August so they can finally roam their home and out of their cage. Despite being free, these three decided to stick together whenever, wherever 😄

CRUSTY TO FLAWLESS ✨

This stray was posted by a good samaritan, asking for recommendations on how to treat the crusty skin of this stray cat that she usually feeds. We sent them the product that we know is useful for its case and just a week after application, the difference is really noticeable 😊

We thought we started this month with good things but in the past two weeks, all these angels have left us 🪽🌈

Losing them one by one has given me multiple sleepless nights. The anxiety became countless of terrible nightmares in a night. I've been sleep deprived for several days. The pain of losing them is such an immeasurable suffering that I don't want to feel again.

Julia and her kitten plus one

These strays were being fed by kind people working in a big hotel. However, they noticed that other establishments are not fond of animals and they learned that some cats were already rounded up and nowhere to be seen. They decided to look for someone who can take care of these cats to avoid the worst. We decided to take them as days have passed and they still got no adopters/fosters.

Five years ago, we went to a free neuter event to have their balls removed. From then on, we wished that one day, we'll be able to do the same for our community. And two days ago, we were able to offer spay and neuter to our community. DREAMS DO COME TRUE ✨✨✨✨

Yesterday at our free spay and neuter event in celebration of World Animal Day 🐶🐱

The event was a success! After more than a month of preparation, we finally made it ❤️ The anxiety, stress and amount of work to be done was so overwhelming for the two of us. Thankfully, we got more helping hands to assist the animals and people as we still have to take care of our shelter while the event is going on.

Thank you to all our local and international sponsors, to everyone who believes in what we do and what we aim to do ❤️ Without you all, this event wouldn't be possible. We can't always rescue animals so this is what we think we could offer the most.

Thank you Red Cubs Pet Patrol for providing the spay and neuter of the animals despite our far and remote location, DOC SHE Veterinary Clinic and Pet Supplies for doing the pre-op blood exams, Furs Selection for the free cat&dog food, Gilbert and Raine's Foodtrays for the delicious food for the team and to our Mum who believes that we can and will be able to do this project.

Hopefully we can do another one sooner or later! 🥰

❗PLEASE HELP US FUND THE RESCUES CATS' WET FOOD AND SPECIAL DIET FOOD❗

This is one of their monthly essentials. One sick cat eats a few selected cat food. The blind cat with tumor previously only eats boiled chicken. The disabled kitten eats boiled chicken and squash. Two cats are on a hepatic diet. The rest of the rescues (50+ cats) consume around 6 cans daily or 180 cans in a month. Having this food in stock will greatly lessen our worry. With the help of DOC SHE Veterinary Clinic and Pet Supplies, we were able to test the blood of the female dogs that were registered for our upcoming spay and neuter event on October 4th. It is one of the requirements to make sure that the female dogs are healthy and fit for surgery, as most of them are free-roaming in our community. Since the team was already in our area, we also took advantage of them to check up some dogs with visible illness.

It's been raining for days because of consecutive storms so the dogs weren't able to play outside. This is how our 8year-old Bonjing (black and white) and 10year-old Bullet (brown) play inside 😄

It’s been raining nonstop because of the typhoon. The cats say they’re missing the sun again, missing to play outside and run everywhere. Oh to have a good sunny day ☀️☀️☀️

Went to withdraw some cash from the ATM but a kitten was dispensed 😍

Our Macho Man Bikbhie 🩷

Robi is one of our disabled kittens. He got a spinal injury that made him somehow paraplegic and unable to pee on his own. He needs to be stimulated every four hours to excrete his wastes. Despite that, he is playful and usually bites whenever one touches him. He is also a fast crawler especially when food is around. #kittens #disabledkitten #rescuekitten
