Yesterday, we saw a post about a stray cat that has a huge wound on its face. We offered help after observing that the post has received very few comments, which means that there's a low chance that the cat will be rescued.

Earlier today, we provided food and a cage so that when the cat returns to ask for some food from the reporter, she can contain the cat. Thankfully, the cat returned and the reporter was able to contain the cat. We then arranged for the pet to be transported to one of our trusted clinics in the metro.

We named this cat Martin. Supposedly, he'll undergo wound repair and debridement but his blood values are on dangerous levels, he's severely dehydrated, under nourished and anemic. So we want to wait a few days when his condition gets a little better before proceeding to surgery.

I fetched Janna earlier today and had a talk with her vet. The vet said that Janna has squamous cell carcinoma (most likely), though we are still waiting for her biopsy results. There’s no cure, only palliative care. Though there are abnormalities on her blood results (obviously), her liver and kidneys are good.

A few minutes after arriving home, we offered Janna her meal and she was able to finish 100g / half the canned wet food. She eats heartily, also she meows after smelling that food is coming. Few hours after, she ate again for dinner.

Apparently, Janna had owners before but completely abandoned her according to her reporter. Her condition has started a year ago and she has scratched multiple people on their neighbourhood, maybe due to the pain she’s enduring.
