Greetings, esteemed followers of the Pets Association Welfare Society,
We've received inquiries regarding the absence of cats on our campus. Unfortunately, we must share the somber news that last Friday (February 2), all the cats on our premises were captured by the City of Imus Veterinary Service Office in response to a request they received. The primary reason behind this action was the numerous reports of students being bitten by some of the cats within our campus.
We empathize with those who used to feed, pet, and cherish these feline companions at school. Unfortunately, you may no longer be able to see them, as they are now in the City Animal Impound. We, too, share the sadness resulting from this unforeseen incident. Despite this setback, we remain steadfast in our commitment to caring for and safeguarding our campus pets and environment, as they are integral parts of our lives within these grounds. We will persevere in advocating for the future well-being of our campus pets.
To bring some uplifting news, we extend our gratitude to those students who generously donated cat and dog food for our campus pets. Although we cannot utilize these donations at present, we intend to use them to support stray animals beyond the perimeter of our campus. Special thanks to those who contributed to Lucy Gray's medication, the rescued cat, and the needs of Uno (Tilapya), now residing in the home of our dedicated volunteers. As we progress, we are committed to doing everything within our means to aid stray animals both inside and outside the school premises. Your continued support and dedication to help are crucial for us to continue this mission. Let us collectively strive for success in the future. Thank you.
