"The National Congress of Veterinary Medicine Students (NCVMS) is an initiative to gather veterinary students studying in both private and state universities from across the Philippines. The Congress aims to provide a venue for veterinary student leaders to communicate and unite in honor of the veterinary prof

ession, to acquire and share knowledge among veterinary students, to develop the potential of its members, to promote camaraderie and good ties among future colleagues, and to create a network of earnest future veterinarians for upholding the veterinary profession. It will also be a way of reforming the social meaning of the veterinary profession as it continually faces challenges in education, research, career paths and over- all positive recognition in the country."
