Rabies Awareness Month is an essential time for us to come together and raise awareness about a deadly disease that poses a threat to both animals and humans. Rabies is nearly always fatal once symptoms appear, but the good news is that it is entirely preventable. This month serves as a reminder of the importance of vaccination and education in protecting our community—both pets and people—from this devastating disease. It’s a time for us to take action and make a commitment to rabies prevention.

In celebration of the 2025 Rabies Awareness Month with a theme of "Rabies-free na Pusa't A*o, Kaligtasan ng Mamayang Pilipino," The Pet Doctor Veterinary Clinic has partnered with Barangay Bel-is Buruanga and the Department of Agriculture to offer a FREE Anti-Rabies Vaccination Drive for pets in the community. This initiative provides an opportunity for pet owners to ensure their animals are vaccinated, reducing the risk of rabies transmission and helping create a safer environment for everyone.
