Constipation in an adult Cat.

Patient was "Straining" as observed by the owner, initially suspected as possible Urinary problem however Radiograph showed pets colon full of dry feces/stool. Constipation was then ruled as reason of pets Straining.

She was straining to defecate not to urinate.

Our recommendations to adult cat feeding guide is to still incorporate wet feeding in their meal plans. Kibbles in the morning and wet food in the evening as both have their benefits. Along with including fiber in their diets.

Patient was able to defecate after treatment and was sent home to continue oral medicines.
