4. Avoid putting colorful pebbles and spiky fake plants which contains chemical and risky material. It might damage the fins or tail of your betta or any other fish. In addition, it gives an extra challenge cleaning your tank. Put aquatic plants instead. Real plants give oxygen, improves the chemical filtration and reduces the stress levels of our betta. It gives a place to hide, and a leaf to rest.
