We urgently need your help! Our beloved 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, Chowcy, is battling a severe case of closed pyometra and requires an immediate blood transfusion. We are looking for a healthy, compatible dog to donate blood and give Bella a fighting chance.

- **Breed:** Jack Russell Terrier
- **Age:** 10 years
- **Condition:** Closed pyometra (life-threatening uterine infection)

**Blood Donor Requirements:**
- Healthy dog, preferably between 1-8 years old
- Minimum weight of 25 pounds
- Up-to-date on vaccinations and free of infectious diseases
- Calm temperament and able to handle the donation process

We often get the question, can a dog survive from Canine Distemper Virus?

Burgos, Southern Leyte being part of the red zone when it comes to the said virus has countless of cases weekly for the month of May 2024 alone.

Bella here is one of the few survivors, with the love and support from her family she was brought in the clinic right in time. She is our first patient from our isolation facility in Maasin City. Congratulations Bella and Family!!!
