Babba’s Bright Comeback ✨

Meet Babba, a 5-year-old pug who’s always been a little ball of sunshine 🌞. A few weeks ago, his fur parents noticed he was scratching nonstop, and he even had a strong odor. Upon checking, the vet found out Babba had a fungal skin infection—his skin had become thick, dark, and itchy.

But Babba never lost his cheerful spirit 💛. With proper treatment and care, he bounced back stronger than ever! Now, his skin looks so much better, the smell is gone, and his fur is growing back beautifully. 🐾✨

👉 Lesson learned: if your furbaby is scratching excessively or smells unusual, don’t just brush it off. Always take notes, visit your vet, and get them checked early. Your pets will thank you for it! 🐶💖

Hopesee’s Brave Journey: From Distemper to Recovery 🌟

An 8-year-old half-Japanese Spitz who gave his fur parents quite a scare. One morning, he became weak and even passed a blood-tinged stool. At the clinic, tests revealed a tough battle ahead: Canine Distemper and Blood Parasitism.

With his platelet count dangerously low and early signs of anemia, it was a hard road. Since confinement wasn’t an option, Hopesee’s treatment had to be done at home. His fur parents poured all their love, patience, and care into his recovery—day in, day out. ❤️

Slowly but surely, Hopesee fought back. From being too weak to move, he regained his appetite, energy, and spark. Even his blood serum improved after weeks of medication. Today, Hopesee has overcome Canine Distemper—a huge victory! 🙌

The fight with blood parasites is still ongoing, but Hopesee is proving every day that he’s a true warrior. 🐾💪

👉 A reminder to all fur parents: Prevention is always better than cure.
✅ Keep your pets vaccinated
✅ Protect them from ticks and fleas
✅ Keep them strong and healthy

Because with the right care and lots of love, our furry family can win even the toughest battles. 🐶✨

Toshi’s Triumph: Beating the Odds! 🌟

Our brave 7-year-old Japanese Spitz! 🐶💖 She came to us with persistent coughing for four days, but her appetite was strong and her spirit unshaken.

Tests revealed a few challenges:
- Positive Canine Distemper Virus (CDV)
- Low platelets
- Elevated liver and kidney values
- A history of blood parasitism

Our veterinary team immediately started a 10-day CDV treatment alongside supportive care for her blood parasite and liver-kidney health.

✨ Today, Toshi is a CDV survivor! She’s responding well, and her prognosis is stable with ongoing care. Her courage reminds us that with timely treatment and love, pets can overcome even the toughest hurdles.

💡 Pet Tip: Always watch out for persistent coughs and bring your pets for check-ups regularly. Early detection makes all the difference!

Mochi's Glow-up ✨

A 12-year-old Shih Tzu who faced a tough battle with generalized skin infection. His skin was thickened, moist, and infected, causing discomfort and a strong odor. After careful testing, we discovered that Demodex canis, a type of mange parasite, was the main culprit.

Thanks to the dedicated care from our team and the involvement of his loving fur parent, Mochi received the right treatment tailored for his age and liver condition. Now, he’s back to his cheerful self, with healthy fur and a ravenous appetite! 🐾

💡 Reminder: Older dogs or dogs with weakened immunity are more prone to skin parasites like demodicosis. This condition can severely damage the skin if not treated early. Keep your fur babies protected and always watch for early signs of skin issues!

Smooth Sailing for Luna’s Surgery! 🌟

Luna, our adorable 4-year-old male Exo-Persian, came in for his elective castration. 🐾

As part of his pre-op checkup, we did a complete blood count (CBC) and serum chemistry to make sure he was healthy and ready for surgery. Great news — all results were normal! ✅

The surgery went smoothly, and Luna received his medications post-op. At his one-week follow-up, his surgical site was fully healed, and he’s recovering wonderfully with no complications. 🎉

A big paw-five to Luna for being such a brave boy! 🐱💛

Ash’s Journey to a Healthy New Life ✨

Meet Ash, a 1-year-old Exotic Persian who was brought to our clinic after her owners noticed bloody vulvar discharge. An ultrasound confirmed open-cervix pyometra, a dangerous infection of the uterus that can be fatal if untreated.

Her blood test showed mild leukocytosis, meaning her body was fighting an infection. We quickly performed an emergency ovariohysterectomy (pyometra spay) to remove the infected uterus. After 24–48 hours of hospitalization with fluids, antibiotics, and pain relief, Ash was able to go home.

One week later, Ash came back for her follow-up—and she was her sweet, playful self again! 🐾💖

💡 Reminder for Pet Owners:
Pyometra is preventable! Spaying your female pets before their first heat greatly reduces the risk. If your intact female cat or dog shows unusual discharge, lethargy, loss of appetite, or increased thirst/urination—seek veterinary care immediately.

Coco’s Health Win! 🐾

A 7-year-old Pomeranian, came to us with a dry cough but still full of energy. Tests showed he had Canine Distemper AND multiple tick-borne diseases (Ehrlichiosis, Anaplasmosis, Lyme disease). 💔

We started immediate treatment, and after just 3 days of antiviral therapy, Coco tested negative for distemper and was feeling much better! 🎉 He’s now home, continuing his meds for the tick-borne infections, and is on his way to a full recovery. 🐶❤️

📌 Reminder: Regular vet check-ups and tick prevention can save your pet’s life!

🚨 Public Health Alert: Rising Cases of Leptospirosis in Dogs 🚨

We’ve recently seen an increase in leptospirosis cases in dogs within our area, likely due to recent flooding from the storm 1-2 weeks ago. This serious bacterial infection spreads through contaminated water, soil, or food exposed to rat urine—and it can be fatal if left untreated.

Signs to watch for:
✅ Fever & lethargy
✅ Loss of appetite
✅ Vomiting or diarrhea
✅ Jaundice (yellow gums/eyes)
✅ Increased thirst/urination

⚠️ Don’t wait—if your dog shows symptoms, see a vet IMMEDIATELY. Early treatment saves lives.

💉 Prevention is key!
✔️ Vaccinate your dog—our clinic offers leptospirosis vaccines.
✔️ Avoid leaving food bowls outside—rat urine contamination is a major risk.
✔️ Feed measured portions (no leftovers) to avoid attracting pests like rats, flies, and cockroaches.
✔️ Consider an automatic feeder for scheduled meals—it’s safer & helps regulate digestion!

🐱 Did you know? Cats are immune to leptospirosis, but dogs are highly susceptible.

Protect your pets—schedule a vaccine or check-up today!
