CHESTER. Been very busy lately that we forgot to post about Chester. Chester was reported to be crying for help in a deep canal at Phase 5, NHA, Casisang, Malaybalay City. He was heard crying the entire night of April 23, 2024 until his rescue in the morning of April 24, 2024. Chester is believed to be an unwanted puppy who was intentionally and mercilessly thrown in a canal. During rescue, Chester was very weak, full of ticks and fleas and suffering from mange. He was very hungry and thirsty and slept the entire day. Chester is now gaining weight and is a playful little pupper. He will be needing a home as soon as he is healthy and strong 🙏

For those who are willing to help for the vetting of Chester and willing to assist us in providing food and shelter to our rescues, our deepest gratitude🙏

Anyone who could lend a helping hand for this poor dog?

According to the reporter over the phone, the dog can be found at Barangay 6, in front of RVM Dormitory; and it is believed to be hit by a moving vehicle. This poor dog continues to cry in pain. 😭

We are still looking for any volunteers and still short on resources, but we are hoping and praying that someone could help this baby out.

Our dear fighter Andre is still confined and is recovering slowly but surely. Shortly after his amputation, we have learned that he needed another surgery to remove one of his testicles since the infection has reached that part.
Andre has received praises from his Attending Vet for surviving yet another surgical procedure. A miracle indeed!

With his earnest will to live, he has been trying to adjust with the help of his three remaining limbs.
We have been really thankful to those who helped us raise fund for Andre, and we are happy to announce that we have gathered a total of ₱12,000.00 as of today and another ₱4,000.00 directly donated to Fuzzy Friends Vet Supplies and Pet Clinic

Hello animal lovers, this is Andre (Casper in previous post). Andre is a hit and run victim.

Andre was a stray who has been fed by a 3rd-year college student, Juven, a fellow animal lover. When Andre was hit, Juven rescued him. Andre sustained a broken leg and a big wound with a protruding bone. Juven, however, did not know what to do because he has no means to bring Andre to the vet. Juven was heartbroken seeing Andre in so much pain so that he sought our help for assistance. It was a few days already that Andre has been in that situation when we learned of his plight. We told Juven to bring Andre to the Fuzzy Friends Vet Supplies and Pet Clinic in Laguitas, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. Andre’s entire leg had to be amputated. We risked the fact that Andre has a very low platelet count and proceeded to amputation to give Andre the fighting chance to live. By God’s Grace, Andre survived the surgery. The doctor said it was God’s hands who was working because there were no complications during the surgery despite the low platelet count. Andre really wanted to live. Post surgery, however, revealed that Andre’s testicles was infected because it sustained wound probably because of the impact of the vehicle. The doctor had to remove one of Andre’s testicles to prevent the spreading of the infection, another surgery for Andre. But Andre is such a fighter that he was able to withstand another anaesthesia. Andre cried in pain when the anaesthesia wear off. Right now, Andre is under laser therapy and pain management.

We were able to raise the amount of P6,821. 34 only and yet our current bill is P33,480.00. We are appealing to your kind hearts to PLEASE HELP US SETTLE ANDRE’s VET BILL. It is really heartbreaking to see Andre fighting for his life because he still wants to live no matter how cruel the world may seem.

Current update on Casper/Andre’s status |

Casper is undergoing laser treatment for pain management and antibiotics for other complications he acquired due to his injury.

We are still awaiting for the results of the medical assessment from the Ortho. We still have no figures to give as to how much his running bill is at the moment, but we are truly grateful for everyone who sent their support through GCash donations 🙏🏻✨

But one thing is for sure, Casper is fighting 🤍 and please pray with us that he will eventually overcome this and recover as soon as possible 🙏🏻

This dog, as reported to us by sir Ben Jay, was hit by a moving vehicle causing a significant size of wound and its leg bone to protrude 😢 We could not imagine the immense pain this dog is currently experiencing.
