1 month with us and now our Eli is on her feet and living the life she deserves. Still can not believe someone would leave this snuggly baby in the middle of EDSA to be run over.

After her near to death experience in EDSA, look at Eli playing around with a mock toy 😼 We are praying that she will be able to fully recover from being hit by a car at EDSA. We still need funds for her treatment and we are knocking on your doors to help this strong willed baby recover. 🙏

Update: Our furangel "Eli" was brought to Vetlink Veterinary Services - A Community Vet Clinic and was observed to have damages to her pelvic region. Kailangan siyang madala sa Ortho para mas macheck ang extent ng damage at kung anong therapy ang kailangan. She was given pain relievers and antibiotics as first aid.

Gusto naming maagapan pa sana ang kalagayan niya para magka chance na maka recover 'yung pilay n'ya. 9

Habang nakamotor kami sa EDSA, malapit sa kanto ng Buendia, bigla na lamang lumabas sa gitna ng kalsada ang pusang ito, na parang nilaglag lang mula sa isang sasakyan. Nagulungan s'ya ng ibang sasakyan, at nagtatakbo s'ya, at nang nasa harap na namin s'ya, nakita namin na buhay pa s'ya at parang buntot o likod na paa lamang ang nagulungan.

Doon kami tumigil at humarang sa daan para subukan s'yang itabi. Kita sa hitsura n'ya na nasasaktan s'ya. Sinusubukan pa n'yang dilaan 'yung buntot at likod na bahagi ng katawan n'ya. Bumaba ako para lapitan s'ya ngunit nag hiss s'ya, malamang dahil sa takot at sakit. Kinagat n'ya pa ako sa may paa, ngunit pinilit pa rin namin s'yang maitabi.

Nang makarating na s'ya sa bangketa, sumiksik s'ya sa pagitan ng poste ng ilaw at doon s'ya tumigil sa 'pag hiss at umiyak ng umiyak sa sakit. Pinilipit ko s'ya kausapin at i-comfort. Sabi ko, "babalikan ka namin".

Binalikan s'ya ng partner ko after ako ihatid. Hindi na raw s'ya nag hiss. Pakiramdam ko, alam n'yang naroon kami para tumulong. Hindi talaga s'ya umalis doon sa pwesto hanggang mabalikan s'ya. Nagtiwala s'ya.

Isang napansin namin ay may collar s'ya. Ibig sabihin, may may-ari sa kanya.

If you can no longer care for them, please have them adopted. Huwag lang itapon lalo sa lugar na mapapahamak sila.

Cat fosters and rescues are currently on hold until further notice due to an outbreak of Parvo we experienced years ago.

We will continue spreading love to our furry in other ways in the meantime.

May we always have a heart in giving cats, and other furry babies too, the love they rightfully deserve. ❤️

Yesterday, both Tris (Left) and Pepsi (Right) gave birth to their own litters.

Tris is a daughter of one of our persians, Ash, who got sired by one of our rescues. Pepsi, on the other hand, is a daughter of one of our rescued cats, Aster.

Pepsi, despite being a mixed who got sired by a persian, had a healthy set of litter, albeit having a complicated delivery. We rushed her to the vet when later that night, a feet of a seemingly dead kitten popped out hanging from her. We rushed her to the vet to find a dead kitten, which was then removed, as well as the remaining placentas of her other kittens. She was also given an antibiotic and vitamin shots and was later then sent home.

Tris on the other hand, a half persian sired by another persian, despite having a somewhat more normal delivery, had a set of premature kittens. They barely had fur in them.

This is the first time we've ever had premature kittens, and it's so heartbreaking to hear them cry, yet we'll still do our best to help them they make it through.

Yet honestly, we just hope that both Pepsi and Tris make it through their delivery safe and sound. To be able to keep their litter would just be a humbling consolation. 🥺

We'd like to ask for your prayers for all of them! 🙏

Can anyone out there open their heart and home for Ampy?

We've been seeing him in our street for the past few days, and though our neighbors and us have been giving him food and water, he's left alone and soaking when the rain starts to pour. 😔

He's not from here, and he seems like he once had a home of his own. Does he have to spend the rest of his life on the street, with only the memories of once being inside a cozy home? The dried tears on his eyes say a thousand words. 😭

We saw a cat rolling and twitching in the middle of the road in San Juan, meowing in pain. To prevent the worst from happening, we stopped our motor and barricaded him. I tried to pick up the cat, though I was looking for traces of blood. This would've been my second time to see a cat twitch in pain due to being run over by a car, and to put it simply, I was scared to find out if that would be the case.

Thankfully, a man across the street, who seemed to be familiar with this baby cat, picked him up by the back of his neck. That's when he, in a way, calmed down and looked all of us with his eyes wide open. His eyes were full of gratitude despite being in pain. He looks like a house cat, or at least someone with an owner.

The man placed him down on the sidewalk on the other side of the road, and we continued our trip while I tried to catch a glimpse of what will happen to that baby. That's when I saw him running fast to a narrow street, one of his hind legs flinging, which led me to believe that only his leg was run over.

That's when I thanked God, thinking that he's gonna live. He may have to live on three legs, but it could've been worse.

Also, I'm just mesmerized with how the cars behind us patiently waited while we were in the middle of the road. It's very humbling to know that there are still those who understand or at least feel for these furry babies.

I pray to you God that you let him live, that baby cat. I pray for Your protection of all the street furbabies everywhere, who I believe have the purest of hearts; with eyes that can look right through one's very being.

PLEASE ALWAYS DRIVE WITH CAUTION!

It's always heartbreaking for me when one of the street cats I feed dies. Tanggol had a broken neck, probably due to some prior accident, yet that never stopped him from being a sweet and adorable cat.

I've always told him, "'pag nagka extra ako, dadalhin kita sa vet. I'll take you in." Hindi ko lang s'ya makuha agad since we have 18 cats, 9 of which are rescued cats.

Sadly, I was never able to open our home for him. He got ran over by a car earlier this morning. 😭

Tanggol, run free baby. 🙏
I will miss feeding you every day and night. 😭
Wala nang manga-agaw sa food mo. 😓
