Better Late Than Ever:

A Deeply Grateful Heart and a Big Bow-Wow Thank You!

​Life has a way of throwing everything at you all at once. This past April, our world was turned upside down by urgent circumstances and unexpected challenges. We were in survival mode, and because we had to focus all our energy on dealing with those immediate trials, this post is much later than we ever wanted it to be.

​But as the dust settles, we refuse to let time steal our chance to recognize the incredible souls who stepped up to support us. Kindness does not expire, and neither does our gratitude.

​Back in March, Joan Lejano, Co-founder's former company, HGS, truly showed us what it means to have a heart for service. They chose Pier’s Pet Camp as the beneficiary for their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activity.

​Over 100 Lives Saved 🤍
​Let’s be honest—our shelter is humble. We do not have a pleasant, fancy, or picture-perfect facility like others do. On the day they visited, the scorching heat of the sun was absolutely relentless.
​But behind our simple walls is a profound truth: this humble space is home to over 100 dogs who were saved from the brink of death.

​The amazing team from Hinduja Global Solutions didn’t care about the uncomfortable conditions. They didn’t see the dust or the heat; they saw the beauty of those 100+ innocent souls who were given a second chance at life. They brought their energy, their smiles, and a profound willingness to deliver exactly what their hearts set out to do.

​Keeping Us Afloat 🙏
​To everyone at HGS, thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. Your generous donation of dog food and monetary support arrived exactly when we needed it most.

​Because of your generosity on that single day, we were able to immediately buy essential, life-saving needs for our pack. You didn't just give a donation; you gave us a lifeline to keep these rescued souls safe, fed, and loved.

​We may be late in posting this, but please know that your impact is felt every single day by the fur babies in our care. Thank you for choosing us, for believing in our humble work, and for proving that compassion shines brighter than the hottest sun.

Late Gratitude Post:

As many of you know, this year alone we have already faced two unexpected relocations.

Last May, our founders sent out an appeal, praying and hoping for a miracle to complete the rental for the month. And indeed, faith and prayers proved to be our strongest weapon. We are deeply thankful to the anonymous donors who saw the sincerity of our hearts and the sacrifices we make just to give these innocent angels a safe home. Because of you, we were able to pay the rent for May.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much, Sirs and Ma’ams, for your inevitable kindness.

"We made it through yesterday because of your help to us.

Another day has come, and they need food again 😔 Every day, they consume 2 sacks of dog food which costs 3000 pesos total (1500 pesos per sack for 20 kilos), plus pork liver worth 700 pesos and vegetables worth 300 pesos – that's 4000 pesos total per day, please 🙏

Maybe you have extra coins that you can spare for them 🙏 We now have 158 dogs, to be fed🙏
