'YOUR CONSIDERATE INSPECTION COULD SAVE A LIFE'

The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) urged the public to check their cars thoroughly before driving, especially during the rainy season, and ensure that no stray animals are taking refuge under some parts of the vehicles.

"As the rainy season ushers in, let’s spare a thought for animals. It only takes a quick 5-minute check before riding your parked car. Don’t forget to remind your friends and family to do the same! Your considerate inspection could save a life!" they wrote in their Facebook post on Monday. (Facebook/Philippine Animal Welfare Society)

🐾 Meet Sasha, the ultimate transformation story! 😻 When we first laid eyes on her, she was just skin and bones, one of the thinnest cats we've ever seen. A concerned neighbor brought her to us, wondering if she might be the missing cat we had been searching for a couple of weeks prior. She wasn't our missing cat, but we took her in nonetheless. Neighbor told us she'd been either stuck or hiding in their ceiling for the past several days.

Fast forward to today, and Sasha's a whole new cat! She's gone from skinny to chonky in the best way possible, thanks to lots of love and good food. 🍗 But her journey doesn't end there...

Sasha has embraced her role as the resident "mother hen" of the household, especially when we have new rescue kittens. 🐱 She showers them with love, grooming them like her own, and even snuggling up beside them for nap time.
