Si HOPE.

Galing siya sa clinic kanina. Siya ang asong marami nang pinagdaanan pero lumalaban pa rin sa buhay. Hehe. Ang drama! May garapata lang po at dermatitis ngayon si Hope. 🤭

Pero totoo, nakailang lipat na ito ng owner. Na-CS ito last November; 3 pups sana.
1 pup ang normal na naipanganak, naiwan at namatay sa loob ang dalawa requiring immediate C-section. Salamat sa kanyang responsible owners na nangangalaga ngayon at nagpo-provide ng needs niya.

She is currently doing well, need lang ng anti-tick and flea treatment and meds for her skin. 💕🐾

Get well soon, Ruffles.

Ruffles tested positive for Ehrlichiosis. Her owner got worried as she had lost her appetite and became less energetic than usual.
Her CBC showed very low platelet count -a classic hematological sign in patients with blood parasite infection. She'll be under medication for the next couple of weeks before rechecking her blood count again.

Have your dogs vaccinated against viral diseases. CANINE PARVOVIRUS is a viral infection that is highly contagious and fatal but is preventable by vaccination. Survival from this infection is possible depending on age, size and severity of condition when owners first seek medical care. There is a good chance of recovery when cases are treated as early as possible once initial signs of infection appear. Hospitalization is common especially in patients that are showing severe signs like lethargy, dehydration, abdominal pain and bloody diarrhea.
