MYTH! dogs do not sweat through their tongues. Unlike humans, who have sweat glands all over their bodies, dogs have a different mechanism to regulate their body temperature. Dogs primarily cool themselves through panting, which allows them to release heat by evaporating moisture from their respiratory system. Additionally, they may cool themselves by seeking shade, resting on cool surfaces, or drinking water. So, while a dog's tongue helps them cool down by panting, it is not directly involved in the process of sweating. 🐾🐶👅💦
