Everyone deserves to eat when they're hungry.
To have a safe place to rest when they're tired.

To be loved.
Saw this mama dog at a stopover in Leyte. This is one of the sad results of irresponsible dog keeping. No dog should be begging for scraps. Let's do better.

A dog that is trained for K9 search and rescue uses it's sense of smell to detect human live scent or cadaver scent.
A short live scent training of Rex. About 10 meters away the live scent was put in the 1foot deep hole and covered it with broken hollow blocks.
"Reactive Dogs"
Reactive dogs are dogs who get overly excited by common triggers and may prove difficult to control and handle. The longer this behavior gets uncorrected the harder it would be to fix. This doggo is one of such, but after a month of rehabilitation and training and with the support of his owners he has now improved.

I truly admire those who give time to teach their dogs the proper behavior, socializing them to other pets and humans, exposing them to different environments, and just letting them be dogs and have a bit of fun.

To train a dog to go through an obstacle course you must introduce them to different and varied terrain. A well conditioned dog is a confident dog. They are not easily scared or frightened when faced with new and challenging situations.
This is an example of a Belgian Malinois puppy trained on an obstacle course.
(Don't try this without any knowledge or supervision of an experience or a profesional dog trainer).
"LEARNING BY EXAMPLE"
Having a reliable and well-behaved dog is truly instrumental during training. Through this, the dog will have someone to copy from their behavior and learn from thus makes it easier for the trainer and the trainee. Rex makes for one good "kuya" here at the camp.

"Energy and Excitement"
An update of Haiyan, a German Shepherd dog that came to us because he is a "stubborn" doggo. Taking him on walks proved very problematic to his owners as he does not listen and drags his owner thus he has lesser excercise and activities. Because of this Haiyan has developed an uncontrolable behavior and has very high energy and exitement because he has very few instances where he could release it.
Now, after sessions of training Haiyan has now greatly progressed. The formerly "stubborn" doggo now responds to commands and remembers to stop his undesirable behavior when corrected. Through constant excercise, Haiyan's high energy has also decreased and is no longer an uncontrollable dog.
An integral part of his training is also due to proper diet and nutrition as he is exclusively nourished by Maxime & Woofy dog food and also Alpha-Vit and Pet Reboost.
