𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐨 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐬

"Last month, our three kittens faced a harrowing battle with Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV). They were urgently taken to the vet clinic due to persistent vomiting, and sadly, despite the best efforts, Edward succumbed to the illness, peacefully crossing the rainbow bridge.

While Jacob and Bella showed signs of recovery, another hurdle emerged during their recovery. Jacob developed an infection at the site of his IV due to frequent replacements, necessitating a two-week course of antibiotics for his recovery.

Bella, on the other hand, began exhibiting weakness and excessive lethargy, coupled with a concerning absence of bowel movements for three days. A prompt visit to the vet revealed an intestinal blockage, causing constipation. The vet recommended a combination of laxatives and enemas to facilitate relief. However, despite these efforts, Bella's fever persisted.

A subsequent 4-in-1 test uncovered an additional challenge—Feline Coronavirus. Swift isolation and a comprehensive medication regimen, including both oral and injected medications (a first-time experience for me!), became imperative.

Now, after months of monitoring, strict administration of medicines, sleepless nights, and all, Bella and Jacob will have their first shot of 4-in-1 vaccine tomorrow!

Please have your pets vaccinated and always monitor for symptoms. Always consider professional advice from Vets and more importantly, Don’t give up on your pets!!"

Our team recently performed a gastrotomy to remove a foreign object from this curious pet's stomach. Ingesting foreign bodies can be dangerous and may require surgical intervention, just like in this case.

Pablo’s Journey to Recovery 🌟

Pablo, a brave 5-year-old male French Bulldog, faced a tough battle with Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS), aspiration pneumonia, and laryngeal paralysis. Initially treated with medication for respiratory distress and congestion, we soon realized that surgery was needed due to the severity of his BOAS. Post-surgery, we discovered and addressed laryngeal paralysis with additional medication.

After a 2-week hospital stay, Pablo’s conditions were successfully managed, and he’s now back on his wellness program. Here’s to a healthier future for our courageous friend! 💪🐶

This is Lays, an 11-year-old Dog, after her sucessful Ovariohysterectomy (Spay). Lays regained her energy right after her surgery! Lays, became inappetent two weeks ago and is unable or too weak to walk. The owner thought it may be because of her age. No other signs or symptoms were seen; but upon check up at The Veterinary Hub Pte Corp, Lays is diagnosed with Pyometra (Pus-filled Uterus) through ultrasonography.
