Morning Routine (5/16/22)
Giving our birds their daily vegetable mix! 🐣🥭
A pure seed diet is insufficient to give your pets the proper nutrients they need and may make them susceptible to various diseases in the long run. 🤒
Make sure your birds have a healthy and well-balanced diet by giving them a mix of different vegetables that they can enjoy! 🥕🥬🌶

Nest Update (Box 3 - 4/27/22)
4/4 hatched healthy little babies! ☺️
Initially, 1 out of the 4 eggs appeared to be infertile at the time of candling but we decided to keep the egg and still hope for the best. 🤞🏻
A couple of weeks later and the last chick has finally hatched 🐣 Cheers to another perfect clutch ☺️🥂

Incubator Babies
Incubator babies! 🐣
We had to pull out day old chicks since they weren’t being fed by their parents. Here’s their growth after 1 month of hand feeding 💙
Daily reminder that caring for our pets take time, effort, and dedication. 😊

Incubator (2/13/22)
Check out this DIY incubator we purchased to house a day old chick!
Unfortunately, it wasn’t being fed by one of our newly bonded pairs so we decided to hand feed it instead.
Thank you sir Marvin Sarabuno Yatzkie for the fast delivery of this unit.

Candling (Box 7 - 2/5/22)
Clutch update: 6/7 fertile eggs!
Since the embryos are almost complete (eldest at 20 days), it’s difficult to spot the blood vessels present although the infertile egg can clearly be distinguished at this stage since it lacks the reddish hue visible in fertile ones.
The eggs are expected to begin hatching tomorrow and we’re definitely excited to welcome the new chicks to our aviary!
