Brutus' first day at the clinic . He was very sick :(

Brutus, ultimate OG Amaia cat.
Remembering the day when pound came, he made them run for their money. He was not caught.
A few months after, he felt ill (first video) . Our meowmies took him to the vet. Brutus let us take him to the vet. He was very sick but we never gave up. Look at his glow up . Brutus from a feral cat is now gwapo, malambing and friendly 🐱💚

His vet bill unfortunately is very high for us to settle and take him out of the clinic. We knock at your good hearts to help in any amount 🙏

It's unfortunate to be part of this community where cats are treated garbage and can be disposed of. Management strongly support the discouragement in providing the strays the very basic necessity- food! Quite a shame, humanity in this area is DEAD!

Ang laki ng problema nyo, mga pusa talaga na walang value ang buhay para sa inyo... eh kung inuuna nyo sana i-fix mga leaks ng units? Nakakahiya naman masyado, it's taking years now and issues were never resolved!

There's an added challenge lately in reaching out to feed our community strays. Will be watching them until they were all able to eat then clean up immediately because as "per policy" NO LEFT OVERS and nust not leave any trace or trash.

So this is the awkward feeling we get as a volunteer who would selflessly spend time under the heat of the sun and enduring the weight carrying loads of cat food and bottled water just to secure these strays have satiated their hunger. Indeed, we live in a very selfish and cruel community.

I wonder what happens today. Becuase yesterday I was with a friend and we were apprehended with the action and was remunded aboit the memo...

So tell me,.am I violating? Are they showing humane behavior?
Are they making considerarions for the innocent lives that desperately want to live?
Please send me your thoughts.

Because to be honest, in a few minutes, I will still follow my heart and make sure these strays are fed and have access to water.

The Cats of Amaia has satisfied the compassion for animals of the Pet Lovers of Amaia Skies Cubao by feeding, sending to the vet for treatment and kapon, all from their own pockets.

The group has initiated a Kapon Project as early as January 2022 and has continued with this effort to date.

Unfortunately, the condo admin has decided and prefers impounding of the community cats and have them euthanized later on.

Please help us.

Save them from getting killed by adopting or fostering while waiting for adopters.
