This photo never fails to break our hearts.

And this is why we will continue to fight for them because its not their fault they are out there. Its not their fault they dont have homes.

The best way to save dogs like them is to consider adoption.

They all deserve to be loved and they all deserve to live and be heard. Breed or no breed.

Please consider adoption. Please advocate for them. Please love the strays as well.

PROUD ASPIN DADDY. Business magnate Fernando Zobel de Ayala (FZA) and his adopted PAWS shelter dogs Bonito and Charlie were featured in today’s Metro Style - Father’s Day Edition - the Muttro Special.

We are bursting with pride that, in a gallery featuring 22 of society’s most lovable dads and their pets, FZA sat with his adopted aspins to show the world just how beautiful they are.

Bonito (or “Boni”) is the tripod on the extreme left while Charlie is the dog seated beside Boni. In this post, we have included their photos at the PAWS shelter which were taken shortly after their rescue.

FZA adopted three other dogs from PAWS who aren’t in the photo. He also adopted six (6) horses rescued from the recent Taal Volcano eruption. ❤️

The summer heat is here. While we'll feel the discomfort brought about this rise in temperature, may we keep in mind that our furry companions are also affected by this. Please bear in mind that they have more difficulty regulating body temperature due to a number of reasons. For one, they do not have the ability to talk and make us aware of the discomfort they're feeling, nor can they provide comfort measures for themselves (e.g., grab cold water, turn on the electric fan, apply cold compress, etc).

As of May 6, 2020, PAGASA recorded the highest heat index at 53°C. 🥵

So we highly encourage everyone to please consider bringing your pets indoors during hot days. If this is not possible, please find a cool, well-shaded area outside, and provide plentiful water and protection from hot asphalt and other heat-trapping surfaces.

Moreover, kindly put up water stations for the strays, and refill these every day. They're at high risk for experiencing heatstroke, and it is the least we can do for them. 😔
