Justice for mengay!
𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐲!!
Amidst AKF's recent cases of abandoned and neglected animals, a family in Talisay City, Cebu is calling for justice. Menggay, a beloved rescue cat, was brutally killed by a neighbor. Menggay was repeatedly struck with a 2x2 wood as the horrified witness was left traumatized and crying in the aftermath of the senseless killing. The witnesses were a female helper, the pet owner, and his children.
Animals and children should never be subjected to violence, but a CCTV footage now bears witness to the loss of Menggay's life and the children's innocence. 𝐀 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝.
May this be a rallying cry for justice, action, and awareness. Let us ensure that the voices of the voiceless are heard and that justice is also sought and achieved.
