Buchiban and Ukeban are adjective words to describe the fighting characteristics and roles of the two competing roosters based on the fight rules in Japan...

Buchidori and Ukedori are noun words to call the roosters having the Buchiban and Ukeban fighting characteristics/roles, respectively...

But Buchiban and Ukeban, if followed by the word Shamo, it will describe a type of Shamo... Thus, a noun then...

Ukedori - Receiving/Depending Rooster... Receive the attack from the Buchidori but depend/keep its post until fight hours end... Ukedori is an expert in neck locking and dodging attack from the opponent..

Buchidori and Ukedori belong to the weight category of Chu (medium size) Shamo, but these two are separately of different types...
