ASHLEY's Update

Because of your untiring support we managed to rescue Ashley an hour and half after our call for sponsor.

She'd been admitted at our partner vet for close monitoring. She was in this state at the vet. It saddened us to hear that she might be infected with rabies😭.

We're all fingers crossed. Please please include Ashley in your prayers🙏🙏

𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘: 𝘍𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘍𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘺 07, 2025💔

A few days ago, we visited these dogs at the City Veterinary Office, where we found around 40 dogs—most of them strays, desperate for love and care. Sadly, many have already been lost to euthanasia, but this new batch still has a chance if we act now. We cannot lose any more of them.

🔴 7 𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀, 3 𝗽𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗲𝘀.

These dogs weren’t given a fair shot at life. They didn’t ask to be abandoned, left to roam the streets, or live in fear. They’ve been through so much—whether it's hunger, illness, or the uncertainty of being alone in the world. But there’s still hope. You can give them that hope.

By adopting, you’re not just saving a life—you’re offering them a chance to know love, care, and safety. You’re giving them the opportunity to be a part of a family who will cherish them. It’s a simple act that can change the world for these dogs.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁? Bring a leash or cage.

Rest assured, all adopted dogs will be vaccinated with free anti-rabies shots upon release. 🙏 These innocent lives hang by a thread, and without your help, they face the heartbreaking reality of euthanasia.

Please share this post, and encourage those with good hearts to come forward. These dogs are counting on us—the more people who see this, the better their chance of finding their forever home. We cannot bear the thought of losing them, but with your support, we know we can save them.🥺

This is more than just an adoption drive. It’s a plea to save lives. Time is running out for these dogs. 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗹𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

🚨 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗢𝗥: 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.🚨

This small Aspin has spent 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 of her life outside, watching from a distance while her owner's 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀. Now, after allegedly being hit by an unknown person, she is in 𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

"Kagabi po, paulit-ulit siya nag-iikot. Wala pong tao sa bahay nila, siya lang ulit ang nasa labas. Di daw siya pinapapa*ok kasi baka mahawa ang iba. May mga a*o pa sa loob, mga may breed."

She was always eager to eat, waiting for scraps from a kind neighbor. But today, she didn’t touch her food. She stumbles when she walks, her head tilts unnaturally, and she looks completely out of it—like a dog fighting through pain and confusion.
The informant also mentioned that the dog has been heard suddenly crying out in pain on multiple occasions. Given the financial struggles of her owner, it’s unlikely she will receive the medical attention she desperately needs. Her owner says they want to have her treated, but they have no money.

Yet, somehow, they can afford to keep their purebred dogs well-fed and protected indoors. So why is this Aspin always left outside? Why is there never enough for her? Is it really about money, or just about which dogs are "𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵" saving?

𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲.💔

Upon reviewing the videos, she could have 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗺𝗮 or something 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲, and if she doesn’t get treated soon, she might not make it. 😓 (more clips in the comsec) 😞

TAARA desperately 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 to help, but we are already struggling with nearly 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘀 in unpaid vet bills. We 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 take on another case 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 someone is willing to 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿 her vetting.

🐶 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽, 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝘁. Any amount for her treatment could save her life. If you can’t donate, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲—the right person might see this and give her the chance she deserves.

She has been ignored long enough. Let’s not let her die without knowing kindness.

HELP US SHARE TO FIND LENARD🙏

He was one of our rescues from Polangui about a month ago.

After weeks of being isolated he'd been roaming the shelter. He was fine and got along well with his colleagues until yesterday he found a way out and hasn't returned.

He has a noticeable lump/bulge on his ge****ls with fouly smell so you would notice him at once.

Please share and spread and help Lenard return to the shelter.

🔴 ANOTHER REPORT OF ABANDONED Mama Dog and Her Puppies.

Last night, we responded to a report about an abandoned mama dog and her three puppies in Brgy. 17, Legazpi City.

"Hii good evening po! Mam baka po pwde ma help kami. Sa brgy 17 po may bagong anak po na a*o, wala daw nag cclaim kung sino may ari. Gusto po kasi paalisin ng residents yung a*o since aggresive daw at naka kagat na. Baka po pwde icontain muna kasi bagong anak lang daw po. Baka masilo yung mama dog."

Residents wanted to surrender her to the pound, claiming she had bitten someone and was becoming aggressive. But can we blame her? A mother protecting her young—left to fend for herself, feeling unsafe and threatened. Given her situation, we understand that she was only trying to protect her puppies, especially since no one seemed to be taking responsibility for them.

Despite a long and exhausting day at the shelter, our volunteers, with the help of the concerned reporter who covered our transportation expenses, made their way to the location. Thankfully, we were able to secure the mama dog and her little ones.

For now, they are safe in our care. Once the puppies are healthy and strong enough, we will look for loving homes where they can grow up safe and cherished. As for the mama dog, we will do our best to rehabilitate her and ensure she gets the chance she deserves.

This is another painful reminder: 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹/𝗽𝗲𝘁, 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲! So many dogs suffer because of irresponsible ownership, and many end up abandoned, neglected, or worse—caught in the cycle of cruelty.

Let this be a wake-up call. 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺, 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗻. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲—𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺.

Help us continue our mission. Support responsible pet ownership. Choose kindness 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆.

ANOTHER CASE OF ANIMAL CRUELTY ‼️

A mother dog, who was nursing her puppies, was suddenly struck with a rock by a man wearing a TANOD uniform. This highlights the unfortunately frequent occurrence of animal cruelty in the Philippines, often with perpetrators seemingly unaware of the legal consequences.

We hope for stronger enforcement of animal welfare laws and clearer guidelines for barangay tanods regarding their responsibility in preventing such acts.
