LOCAL COUNCIL FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN (LCPC) 4TH QTR MEETING

1LT RODANTE A SOSO PA of the 36IB together with twenty-five (25) member agencies from LGU Tandag City, NGOs and CSOs headed by Roxanne C Pimentel - City Administrator with Ms Louella E Escandor-Local Legislative Officer V and other stakeholders attended the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) 4th qtr meeting held at Seasons Park Apartelle, Tandag City SDS.

Discussed during the meeting were the highlights of children's right and responsibilities in the society, VAWC and the planning workshop in connection with the upcoming Childrens Month Celebration this November 2018.

Lt Soso presented the proposed Emergency Hotline designed by the 36IB to the council as agreed during last LCPC 3rd Qtr Meeting. Said tarpaulin will be displayed and hanged on strategic locations for the benefit of the Tandaganons, bypassers and tourist.

COMMITTED IN BRINGING THE GOVERNMENT CLOSER TO THE PEOPLE

In its commitment and purpose to attain a long and lasting peace thru delivery of basic services to the people under the AFP Community Support Program, the 36IB Valor Troopers led by Cpl Desabille PA - Public affairs NCO of this unit together with the POGI Team of 36IB participated to the series of Brgy Visits of the LGU Tandag City spearheaded by Hon Alexander T Pimentel dubbed as "Libreng Serbisyo alang sa Katawhan" held at Multi Purpose Hall of Brgy Awasian, Tandag City, Surigao del Sur on October 25, 2018 at 8 o'clock in the morning.

The 36IB Troopers provided "Libreng Gupit" and Manpower/Security assistance to more or less 500 residents of said brgy in partnership with different Local Government Agencies , Provincial Health Office SDS, City Veterinary Office, CSWD, City Nutrition Action Office and City Agriculture Office (Libreng Gupit - 100, Dental check-up and tooth extraction - 98, animals operation tuli and examination for the city vet - 60 and different medical consultation and distribution of medicines - 80, and distribution of seedlings - 150).

36IB in line with the AFPs Community Support Program participated to the Local Government Unit of Tandag City "Barangay Visit" held at Brgy QUEZON, Tandag City, SDS on October 24, 2018 at 01:30 o'clock in the afternoon.

The 36IB Valor troopers provided free haircut, manpower and security assistance and distributed leaflets to the more or less 350 residents of said brgy availing different services from the LGU Tandag City spearheaded by Hon Alexander T Pimentel, City Mayor.

The services includes Medical and Dental Consultation/Treatment, Free Haircut, Distribution of Goods and Advocacy Awareness of local agencies of LGU.

LOCA CHIEF EXECUTIVE IN TAGO, SDS RESPONDS TO IP EVACUEES THRU LOCAL CRISIS MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

Municipal Local Crisis Management Commitee (LCMC) Meeting headed by Hon Rogelio M Pimentel, Municipal Mayor, in response with the IP Evacuees from Sitio Madrid and Lagangan of Brgy Caras-an, Tago, Surigao del Sur, held at municipal mayor's office on July 24, 2018.

47 IP households from said sitios voluntarily evacuated at Brgy Caras-an proper of said town due to fear of lives from armed clashes in the area.
