Not a great start for Sept. Another one of our beloved strays, Chubsters, is in bad condition. Not only did she already lose all her teeth, she now has chronic kidney failure and needs blood transfusion. 😔 We sadly have to plead and ask for donations as we have so many vet bills piled up. 😭 Even as little as P100 from our followers will greatly help our cause to help the animals that need it.

✔No history of pregnancy
✔Females must be spayed

We finally got the sick cat from Dell's Food Hall. And we named her Dell. ❤️

Report from the vet:
"She is positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). She also has a kidney disease due to Creatinine value in her test results; at the same she has a very high infection (WBC count is high) and anemia at the same time (low RBC and Hematocrit), it's not yet at the level where she needs a blood transfusion but this is something we would like to closely monitor.

Right now, her prognosis is guarded but may become poor/critical if her condition worsens.

We'll keep you posted."

Hello from two kittens that were rescued a few weeks ago. They were reported to us by the guards at a nearby mall two days apart from each other. Both dumped with their eyes still shut.

When you see a dirty cat:

🔺 Cats can tolerate hunger for up to a week on average, but cannot go no more than 2-3 days without water.

🔺 Cats are usually very clean, they groom themselves several times a day. If you see a cat that does not look clean, it is DEHYDRATED and has been so for many days.

🔺Their saliva glands are not functioning properly because they require moisture to groom their fur.

🔺 If you see a stray cat that looks dirty, DO NOT turn the other way or see it as disgusting, because it is suffering and probably hasn't had anything to eat or drink in a long time.

🔺 Find kindness in your heart to give it food and WATER🙏🙏🙏. The life of a homeless animal is not an easy one. It lives in constant fear of other animals and humans, and it has never known the comfort of a soft bed or a restful night’s sleep.

Helping a less fortunate being is the opportunity for you to become a better person and to make this a better world🙏
