“Heartworm” is a serious disease that results in severe lung and organ damages, heart failure and even death in pets. It is caused by a parasitic worm and are spread through bite of mosquitos.

This video is a blood smear test that confirms heartworm from a dog. In this case, it is an incidental finding from a healthy looking pet undergoing screening tests before surgery. Unfortunately, this dog will not be able to undergo the procedure due to heartworm.

*Kindly also consider this test if you are planning to do spay/neuter or any other procedures if possible.

This is a case of “Chronic Wound”. This patient has been on medications for months already, but the wound doesn't heal😩 Some of the many causes of chronic skin wounds can include trauma(frequent licking),burns, infections, mites, etc. “Zari’s” wound dont heal due to foreign material that damages the skin and even the muscles. Surgery was done to cut all the dead skin tissues and muscles. After few days, scars were only left and wound is gone!

Whats inside the ears?
Ear Mites can cause Otitis Interna and Externa in cats and dogs.
Signs and symptoms my include severe scratching, foul smell, facial paralysis, lost of balance and coordination. Others may include nervous system damages and permanent deaf due to long term complications.

ECLAMPSIA is an emergency condition associated with life-threatening drop of calcuim levels that occurs in nursing mommy dogs. It can be fatal when left untreated. Most symptoms like drooling, heavy panting, seizure due to very high temperature are mostly seen.

“Callie” on the video below is on her recovery state after seizure. Got her few jabs of treatment for eclampsia and blood check. After few hours of monitoring she went back home with normal temperature and no more muscle tremors. Take home medications were given to prevent reoccurrence.

Proper meal, supplements for pregnant and lactating pets are always recommended!

This video shows how we detect Canine Ehrlichiosis. It is a tick-borne disease of dogs caused by Ehrlichia canis. Dogs become infected after being bitten by an infected tick, primarily the brown dog tick. Blood tests is also recommended including complete blood cell count and chemistry. It is highly recommended to use tick preventatives for your pets protection. We have available spray, soap and shampoo, pet powder, oral tablets in the clinic. Visit us for more informations!
