It is with sadness and regret that we must report that Red the cat passed away on 30th Oct 2023 after a short illness.
He was 15 years old and as part of old age his bowel stopped working properly. Then, within a month, he developed gall stones.
We tried medicine but his bowels were shot and it was in his best interests to have him put down. His constant pain at not going to the toilet was no life at all.
He is buried in our garden with a red plant and a red light over his grave.
Dead but not forgotten, dear Red.
