Mga hakbang na dapat gawin kapag hinalang may leptospirosis ang alagang a*o:
1. Dalhin agad sa Beterinaryo
2. Iwasang mahawaan
3. Habang papunta sa beterinaryo obserbahan ang alaga
4. I-isolate ang A*o
5. Sundin ang Gamutan mula sa Beterinaryo

Last April, Ulap, a 10-month-old Shih Tzu, was brought to the clinic with complaints of vomiting and watery diarrhea. A rapid test kit containing CCV, CPV, and GIA was used to rule out viral and protozoan infections. The results came out negative. Imaging via X-Ray of the abdomen was also done. Radio-opaque string material was seen along the jejunal segment of the intestine. Anastomosis was performed to remove the foreign object.
The patient was then admitted in the clinic for 7 days for further observation. Our clinic is happy to report that Ulap is back to his rambunctious self.

BREAST CANCER IN DOGS

The risk of developing breast cancer is present in all dogs, but much higher in female dogs that are intact or unspayed.

BIWAN, a 13-year-old intact female, was admitted with concerns that she has lump in her breast and it was getting bigger day by day. We did a mastectomy and spaying and now she is recovering well. ❤️
