The first “Operation Kapon” has just concluded, with 11 male dogs from barangay Moto Sur, Loon, Bohol, now neutered.

This is one step closer to eradicating the practice of leaving newborn puppies and kittens in the middle of nowhere, or even in the middle of a busy road, for them to get run over and die.

We would like to thank the following donors for today’s success:

~ Dr. MaRc DieStro and his team from R&V Mobile Veterinary Services.
~ Dr. Olana Vaño and Mr. Miguel Elias Lopez for the additional monetary support.
~ Maxime for their dog and cat food samplers which were distributed to pet owners after their dogs were neutered.
~ The barangay councilors of Moto Sur, Loon, Bohol (especially kagawad Maramba, Pasilbas and Simbajon) for providing support in the venue and coordinating with pet owners in need of low-cost neutering.
~ Members of LOON First for their presence and support.
~ Christian Reigh Tampos and Dr. Marilu-Dan Nazareno-Lawrence for their on-site assistance.

We have partnered with a local veterinarian for low-cost neutering operations on the 2nd weekend of December at Moto Sur, Loon, Bohol.
