Blackout tips for fishes 🐟🐠🐡🦈

1. Don't overstock. Karamihan ng nakikita kong namamatayan ng isda eh sobrang liit ng space, sobrang dami ng isda. Wag kayo kampante na lumalangoy sila ay okay na. Tulad ng tao nasusufocate din yan pag maliit ang lugar and not enough O2. At ang nagagawa ng blackout ay to cut-off their oxygen supply. Mas madaming isda, mas mabilis maubos ang O2 supply. You can research you fish's basic water volume requirements or you can ask from fish groups how many fish you can stock sa isang tank depending on the size and kind of fish.

2.Don't feed. Wag ka na magpapakain pag alam mong may blackout or blackout na. Dagdag pollutants/bioload yan sa tubig. Mabubuhay naman ang isda mo pag di makakain ng isang araw. Parang ikaw. Badtrip nga lang.

3.Regular water change. Para kahit hindi macycle ang tubig dahil walang kuryente maganda pa din water quality mo kahit papano.Pwede ka din magbawas-dagdag ng bagong tubig but keep it low. I do 10-20% max.

4.Regular check-up. Pag walang test kits, you can check your fish physically for signs and symptoms if you have poor water quality. Redness, lethargy or weakness, jerky or ungraceful swimming can be signs that you have bad water quality or disease. A healthy fish would have a better chance of surviving than an unhealthy one.

5.Invest. Walang pambili ng generator? There are rechargable air pumps, usb powered submersible pumps, and even solar powered ones that can now last for many hours that are available which costs way less than a generator.
