Anti-Rabies Vaccination Program [Batches 2 and 3] - DONE! 🐾

On October 13, Butternut was administered with the ARV, while Ginger was included in the third batch which happened today. Although Goofy came with us today, she wasn’t allowed to proceed because she is found to be pregnant.

‼️TW: HIT-AND-RUN CASE OF PERCY‼️

One of our most lovable community cats, Percy, has been (seemingly) hit by a vehicle on our street. We feed her everytime she shows up, and it just hurts us so much to find out that she passed away like this.

If you have any information on who did this to Percy, do not hesitate to message us through this page. Please share this post to spread awareness and give Percy the justice she deserves.

Having undergone 15 days into foster care, the kittens (Poco & Churro) are now being put up for adoption 🏡
What were once lost and abandoned are now brimming with joy and strength — the kittens 🤍🧡

- Poco loves to eat, is talkative & a crybaby, and active
- Churro loves to eat, is less hyper than Poco and slightly calm

Anti-Rabies Vaccination & Deworming Program - Batch 1 🐾

On August 5, Monday, my sister and I were only able to capture 2 of our community cats from the street: Zoomie and Butternut. They were brought to the veterinarian to receive anti-rabies vaccination and deworming. Upon consulting, only Zoomie was allowed because Butternut is found to be pregnant—and the doctor said pregnant cats cannot be vaccinated 😢

Because of this, we have to wait until she gives birth before bringing her to the doctor again 🩺

We will also be holding more batches soon, so that most cats (like Tilapia, Percy, Abang, Goofy, and Yellow) residing in our community will prevent from contracting rabies and become immunized 💉

It’s these kittens’ fifth day with us, and soon enough, we’ll have them put up for adoption 🤗 good news is that their appetite is very strong, their energy levels are high, and they already know how to escape their box 🫣📦

p.s. hinuhugasan lagi ang bowl nila + sheets are changed, makalat lang talaga 😔

[FOSTER AND RESCUED KITTENS - Poco and Churro]

Yesterday, around 3:58 in the afternoon, my sister and I rescued two kittens that were reportedly dumped at Area 2 of UP Diliman. The woman, who swept them into a dustpan and threw them out, was caught by our friend and had the heart to save the kittens ❤️‍🩹

As of this moment, they are safe and sound under our foster care. Their appetite is strong and their energy levels are high. At the same time, these kittens are open and available for adoption 🐱🏡

Last night was the first time this tilapia-looking cat decided to munch on the kibbles we give 😸 We sure hope it goes on for the following days.

This program involves feeding, spaying and neutering (tentative), putting on collars, and vaccination and deworming on some of the subdivision’s community animals: Brownie (Tofu), Yellow, Butternut, Butternut Jr., Percy, Zoomie, and Goofy.
