Ihr Lieben, keine Sorge, wir beginnen nicht plötzlich zu fluchen 😂 Heute ist der offizielle Scheißtag, der jährlich am 29. Dezember gefeiert wird. Und natürlich wollen wir euch die Entstehungsgeschichte dieses ehrenhaften Tages nicht vorenthalten:

Im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert wurde der Begriff „Scheißtag“ von den Knechten, Dienstboten und Mägden verwendet. Damals war es üblich, die Zeit, die Bedienstete jährlich während der Arbeitszeit auf der Toilette verbrachten, nicht zu vergüten. Die so angefallene Zeit musste am Jahresende unentgeltlich nachgearbeitet werden, sodass das Dienstpersonal bis zu vier solcher „Scheißtage“ im Jahr hatte. Unglaublich oder?

Falls ihr also mal wieder einen richtigen Scheißtag habt, an dem einfach alles schief geht und die Laune im Keller ist, denkt an diese Geschichte, dann geht es euch hoffentlich ein klein wenig besser 🤭 Fröhlichen Scheißtag!
