The international cooperation programme BIG (Biosecurity in pIG production) led by France in ASEAN (Cambodia, Laos, Philippines, Vietnam) was launched in 2022, following a study visit to Brittany and Paris by the coordinators of the 4 beneficiary countries.
This is organized by:
STDF, MEFA, IFIP, ENSV, & CIRAD
in cooperation with
DA,BAI,ATI, & ITCPH.

Dr.Raul Berro presented A Retrospective Study on the Epidemiology of ASF Outbreaks in the Philippines (researched by Doctors Parayao, Marasigan, & Tanael), giving insights on the 7 risk factors and 7 protective factors related to outbreaks.

The 28th Pinoy Pork Challenge has officially wrapped up, and what an incredible experience it has been! With over 500 attendees gathering to learn, share, and reconnect over the past couple of days, the energy was truly inspiring.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to making this event not just successful but more so fun and educational. Your enthusiasm and engagement were what made it all worthwhile.
We can’t wait to see you again next year for even more learning, connection, and genuine camaraderie.
